Heddlo
Hi all. Ive ordered new front wishbones, drop links and track rod ends for my 2007 c max. The last mot had an advisory of front suspension bushes going, so thought id crack a nut with a sledge hammer and do the lot. Anywau, this will be my first time doing anything with suspension, and my question is this. Should i use locktite on all the bolts or just torque it to spec? Will i need to retorgue them again in a few weeks as ive read online or is that a myth. Any help would be fab. Tom.
Gaz0000000
If you get them replaced at a garage they never ask you to come back and re-torque , so just torque them to the necessary torque setting And that will be okay , bearing in mind that as you have messed with the suspension it will be an idea to get the tracking done
Heddlo
Ah yeah. Thats a good point about the garage. Thank you. Yeah. I'm planning on going to a place that does computet tracking and getting it done properly.
