N21
I've had new tyres, wheels balanced, brakes disc and pads but travelling at 75mph I'm getting vibrations coming up through steering wheel and car. What else can it be?? Thank you
MasterTechTip
Did you have this vibration before all the work was carried out? If not I'd suspect it's the tyres, I've known brand new tyres to cause a vibration even when balanced. Maybe your wheels are buckled also? If it was there before the work was carried out then maybe driveshafts? I'd hope whoever done the work on your vehicle would have checked track rod ends and bottom ball joints for play.
N21
Thanks for your reply. The vibration was there before the tyres and balance. The tracking was also corrected when new tyres fitted. I will call back to National tyres and get it all checked..
N21
Had all the 4 wheels re balanced at national tyres where new ones were fitted. The vibration has reduced and is bearable now. Thank you.
