carol06
Hi there I have a Fiesta 2018 5 door and I have just installed a set of Climair wind deflectors. I left them for 24 hours as instructions told me to do but when I try and fully close the front windows the window goes back down. Can anyone advise me what I can try to do? I have got to edge the button up slowly bit by bit for the window to fully close. I have even tried resetting it but it still bounces back down plus the motor is struggling when it gets near the top. Thanks in advance.
Eliterox
Hello, you might have to re-seat them. I fitted the deflectors the same day i picked up my car from the dealership and the windows roll super super easily. On the front ones it is a little tricky to set them in the right position.
Comares2001
Try manipulating them, ie pulling inwards and outwards at same time as operating window switch. Its probably just one small area that's blocking the window
Rogue2
I had the same issue when I fitted mine (also a 5dr) spray silicone spray into the channels of the window & the window will glide up pass the deflectors without any issues.
Eng_Ahmad1986
I think you have to reset the window bounce back feature , here I quote the owner's manual, try this : If you have disconnected the battery, you must reset the bounce-back memory separately for each window. Carry out all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence. Close the window. Press and hold the switch until the window is fully open.Keep the switch pressed for a few seconds. Lift and hold the switch until the window is fully closed.Keep the switch held for a few seconds. Press and hold the switch until the window is fully open.Keep the switch pressed for a few seconds. Lift and hold the switch until the window is fully closed.Keep the switch held for a few seconds. Note: Repeat the procedure if the window does not close when you use one-touch.
