CJE Posted November 16, 2020 Share Posted November 16, 2020 I have recently updated via WiFI my Sync3 software, all ok so far, But when I enter my VIN on the Ford Sync 3 Update page it states an Update is available? Comares2001 Posted November 16, 2020 Share Posted November 16, 2020 It can take some time, even days, for the Ford website to register the update. If it doesn't change you can always download a log file onto USB stick from the Ford website and follow the instructions that are on the website to update this from the sync3 in the car and upload back to the website but you still may have to wait for Ford to register this. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Edge of Reason Posted November 17, 2020 Share Posted November 17, 2020 The wifi updates are only minor software updates. Larger updates or map updates have to be done via USB.
