2008 2.2TDCI - Occasional judder/hesitation when only just touching accelerator

I'm new so hello   and thanks for any replies

Got a slight judder/hesitation when I'm just touching the accelerator to maintain a speed.  Only happens when warm.  Car seems fine when accelerating/decelerating.  It's OK when maintaining a speed though cruise control.  So say if I want to sit at 40 and I'm just touching the pedal to maintain that speed it occasionally judder but only slightly and as soon as I press the pedal more it'll be OK.

Reckon it's just the throttle position sensor?

Anyone had this issue and can point a novice to a DIY fix?  Or know if it's a cheap fix?

TIA
