Mk 7 Fiesta Instrument Lighting

With increased age I find the dashboard lights far too bright when driving at night.

They were able to be dimmed on my Mk1 Focus

Any solutions to the problem

i dont know if the option under the main menu just does the ambient lighting and the screen but there should be a option i think it is under vehicle which says auto dimming... but as i said i think its just for the ambient lights

Think that option does apply to the instrument lights - I don't have ambient lighting, but do have that option..

There is a choice between (if I remember rightly) bright all the time or dimming as soon as you put the headlights on.
