Mondeo 4 wipers not working

Hi all,

just joined the club as my wife's Mondeo is driving me nuts. The wipers suddenly stopped working. Tried a new switch (£10 off ebay) No difference.. Dug out the Haynes book of lies and checked relay 11 and 8 plus fuse 22 in the front fusebox, all OK. The problem appears to be no ground signal at relay 11, (to keep mobile I bodged a switched earth to the relay and the wipers work fine) I suspect the connections under the fusebox but can;t see a way to gat at it. Anyone else had this? found a cure? anyting else? Cheers, Bob

Also I removed the BCU from under the front passenger dash, removed all the covers and checked for water damage etc.... clean as a whistle, no signs of corrosion or burnt components, in fact it looked as new. All BCU fuses check ok too.
