Big thin radiator is for AC.  Big fan is for AC.

(Big thick radiator is for engine  coolant.  Small radiator with its own far is intercooler for turbo air).

thanks bro, now I understand..... The air conditioner was filled last year, now it's not cooling anymore, it's gone.... Because they have some malfunctions, these models, where it could leak.... I looked but I didn't find a leak....

That cap is broken.  Half of it is stuck in the bottle.  Just need to fit a new one. As for taking to sea, I'm not sure how buoyant the Mk3 Focus is.

  • A local Ford service centre will be able to tell you if any recalls have been done. You need to confirm if the wet belts have been changed, if not, you need to budget to get them done ASAP D

  • Everything looks and sounds perfectly normal to me. These high pressure fuel pumps do become noisy as they are driven mechanically off the inlet camshaft via a tappet.  On my Focus there is

Most common leak is the radiator (condenser).  But could also be the pump (compressor) or any of the pipes or seals.

If you have an AC specialist nearby, they can safely pressurise the system with Nitrogen to find leaks.

Најчешће цурење је хладњак (кондензатор). Али може бити и пумпа (компресор) или било која од цеви или заптивки.

Ако у близини имате стручњака за клима уређаје, он може безбедно да притисне систем азотом како би пронашао цурења.

Ok thanks bro

Can someone help me, I can't find this hose, or even the quick coupler... Can someone send me pictures of the hose for this engine, the left and right hoses, and if possible a picture of the quick coupler itself?

Hi,

Sorry I was put off by the word 'intenstine' before.  That is an unfortunate translation!

Those hoses are only sold complete with the connector from Ford.  They are different between RHD & LHD as well as different engines.  There is a rubber o-ring inside that you could try replacing.  But Ford don't sell the o-ring separately, so you'd have to find the size yourself.

Part numbers for the complete hoses:

1889448 & 1890798

I found the cause after a long time, the air conditioner radiator was leaking.. It will be replaced in the spring. Now I have a new problem, the fan in the cabin is not working, it is cold outside, I am freezing, how to solve the problem, is there a fuse and a rheostat and where are they located

Hi,

There is no anti-freeze coolant in the air conditioning radiator.  If the main coolant radiator is leaking, that needs to be replaced now, not in spring.

The fan will have a fuse in the fusebox.  Best to find a fusebox diagram from your own car hand book as that one will be correct.  The UK version may be different.  Also check the fan relay if it's removeable on Mk3's.

If your car has 3 manual knobs for heating then the fan should have a basic resistor in the air pipe under the dashboard.  If your car has electronic climate with a screen and many buttons then the fan for those uses a more complex module, not just a basic resistor.

The air conditioning is manual with 3 buttons.

In that case you should have a basic resistor as in this ebay link.

У том случају требало би да имате основни отпорник као на овом еБаy линку.

It's very difficult to see in the car so no decent pictures.

This is the side of the heater box.  I've drawn in the seat and centre console to make it a bit clearer.  The resistor fits inside the hole with the arrow.

it is located in the driver's seat under the steering wheel or in the passenger seat

On a UK RHD model it is on the left, so our passenger side.

I am not sure whether they swapped sides for LHD models but I don't think they did, so it should be your driver's side under the steering wheel.

На британском моделу са десним вожњом је са леве стране, дакле са стране сувозача.

Нисам сигуран да ли су заменили стране за моделе са левим вожњом, али мислим да нису, тако да би требало да буде возачева страна испод волана.

Oket thanks

Today I decided to find the reason why the fan wasn't working. When I got into the car, I turned it on and it was working... Now I don't understand anything, yesterday it wouldn't work... What happened so that today it started working

  • 4 weeks later...
  • Author

it worked for two days and stopped working again.. Today I ordered a resistor, I replaced it with a new one but it still doesn't work... What next???

Possibly a sticking brush in the fan motor.

  • Author

I fixed it, replaced the two relays and the fan went on... Then I opened the relay, looked, but everything seemed fine to me... I don't know how to measure it, then I put it back and the fan worked again, most likely the relay lost contact... Now I'm trying to find the relay, because they have some universal ones here with a hook, I'll try to find the original

here is a picture i took of where the relay and fuse are
