SteveCF
Hi all. I have a 2010 Ford Focus 1,8TDi estate in Spain(it's and X-Road edition - lots of plastic body panels!) with raised suspension springs as fitted from new by the Ford dealer. I have a problem the the nearside front wheel tends to lift very easily over small humps in the road and give a bit of a thump when coming back down. It also tends to give a thump when I drive over what are relatively small depressions in the road surface. The off-side seem fine over the same roads. Does anyone have any ideas why it is doing this? Cheers Steve
Karlos
Could a spring be broken on one side perhaps?
fiesta_lad
Check the strut for any leaks check that all nuts and bolts are tight.
