Heater Problems

Hello.

I have an old (x reg) Fiesta zetec (1.25). It’s had ongoing
heater issues. The heater value was replaced about 2 years ago, but it went
again (was only an eBay one) in the winter and would only blow hot (not an
issue in winter of course).

I bought a replacement. My mechanic replaced it and found
the old one had “collapsed in on itself”. However, it did not fix the issue. Apparently
the fuses look okay. My mechanic suggested it could be the heater controls (99%
confident).

My question is, where do I find one from? As my car has AC
and recirculating air buttons, it makes it even harder to find these replacements.

Any ideas?

Thanks, B

I just did a quick eBay search www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-FIESTA-MK4-5-WALNUT-HEATER-CONTROL-PANEL/200935547308?_trksid=p2047675.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D11%26meid%3D8581575760609078394%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D1005%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D190828438979%26

You could also try scrap yards for this, should be easy with it being such a common car.
