soundwave77 Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 Hi guys Ive recently decided to change my head unit but am struggling getting the steering wheel controls to work As shown in the pics, there are 2 wires called AD, were do these wires connect to the car? Stoney871 Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 Do you have a loom adaptor specific to your new radio? Loom adaptors designed for a Ford should also have a remote interface. For the system to recognise the set-up you need to connect the radio power first and then connect the steering controls to the interface module. Do the instructions not specify more clearly what AD is? I'm thinking it could be the dimmer circuit or a retracting aerial trigger wire.
