BBS and tints would make it looks slick. Like the fact that it's black and 3 doors. Or, taking a leaf from mighty car mods videos, you could always get some bigger steel rims and have them lightly stretched out like they did. Also, could get spacers to widen the tracks. Cheap but it would look awesome and especially if you get the steelies painted or powder coated. Just my thoughts.

Bigger rims such as 15 or 16" would be nice, but I've learned from fitting 18x8 to the 1.6TDCi focus,

Bigger rims contribute to "unsprung mass" which reduces some power going to the road,

If the polo was the 1.6GTi model then id stick on a set of 16" but since its a 3 cylinder 8 valve 1.2ltr engine putting out 55bhp at the wheels ill stick to 14" rims but some sort of alloy upgrade before Christmas,

Well I did Lennys lights today, I must say Lenny they were poor :(

well I thought I would post up how to do, this will work on all plastic lens lights.(always sand with water and a little washing up liquid)

First you use 500 grit wet and dry and sand light until smooth but of course dull as you have sanded it down lol.

then repeat this process with 1200 grit,1500 grit,2000 grit and finally 2500grit, now you should have a smooth very lightly scratched light lens, so now use a machine polisher and for this you are better off with a pure rotary polisher not a orbital one and I used poorboys SSR 2.5 anti swirl paste, time taken 1.5hrs per light so not a 5 minute job lol but you will be surprised what you end up with.

heres the pics in order, only first one has during second one is next to first to compare and then done.
