Jay87
Hi, just got myself a mk2 facelift (2009) spoiler off eBay to fit my mk2 (2005). But by the looks of it, it doesn't have the brake light, does anybody know if the standard brake light fit the facelift spoiler? Cheers, Jay. karlos1987
Don't hold me to it but I think it does fit. It's only the st spoiler that requires a new brake light. But as I said don't hold me to it. Lol. Sent from my C5303 using Ford OC mobile app
Jay87
No worries, hopefully it fits. Been trying to find decent pictures online to compare it, it looks more or less the same from what I can see.

mixmasterlooney
I thought mk2 had rounded edges on the brake light and mk2.5 had sqaure edges? Clive has done this mod he will know for sure Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app
slartibartfast
I have fitted a mk 2.5 spoiler to my mk 2 and I can confirm the brake light on the standard (non st type) spoiler is identical on both models. The main part of the spoiler body is also identical, all they did with the mk 2.5 was to add the little extra wings on the ends, and make it colour coded. Stoney871
The light is 100% the same on the MK2 and Mk2.5. All wiring and fittings are exactly the same.

troy45
Sometimes it's handy to have a look on sites like this http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford to compare finis numbers between the different focus models. There used to be similar info on numcat.ru but it also gave the details of when the same part had different part numbers for different trim specs etc
Jay87
Thanks for the help, looks pretty straight forward to swap too.
