I think the voice says warning when a approaching a camera with a warning triangle.

Looks like the maps just aren't updated as they maybe should be.

I'll have a look through the manual when I get home to see how we go about updating the maps. Hopefully you don't need to pay for a new SD card like my boss was winding me up saying.

Haven't seen any ping up on mine yet, but then not used the navigation that much to have noticed.

Do you have to set a destination or just have the map open?

Either or fella. Just took a trip to southport, alerts even if you're on homepage of sync2 (assuming it's not on nav mute I guess)

I found the option to turn on the Caution alert when approaching a speed camera.

Click Settings -> Navigation -> Navigation preferences

Its the bottom option Hazard spot warning you have three options Visual only, Visual and Chimes and off. Selecting Visual and Chimes gives the Caution warning voice even if not in the navigation application.

Hope it works for others this is in my 64 plate Titaniam X 2015 model with the Sync2 touch screen.

Those of you with Mk3.5's already on your drive or ordered, would you mind me asking what kind of discount you were able to haggle out of you dealers? This will be the first new car I've bought so wondering how much is realistic to expect given a few of you seem to be old hands at this game :)

Same. Granted he looked at me like I was having a laugh but after a bit of back and forth we came to a deal.

Cheers both, I've taken a look at DriveTheDeal so far but have just put a request in on CarWow to see what comes back.

Local dealer has ~16% discount offers on their website for Zetec & Titanium trims but when I asked if they could do similar %tage discount on a Titanium X he said he wasn't sure as the offers are usually based on stock cars, etc. - don't know if that's true or just sales patter to lower my expectations :)

Alex, what did you hate so much about the Key Free system on your last Focus? Was tempted by it but having seem your comment earlier I wondered what the pitfalls were?

Have to leave your keys indoors when washing the car else it constantly locks and unlocks.

Heavy rain makes it a bit temperamental.

Had an issue with the electrics and the car would keep unlocking itself if I stood nearby.

Car would often unlock but not disable the alarm.

Can't check the car is locked as it just unlocks again, unless you go put your keys out of range.

I used to get more wet trying to make the car double lock with keyless than just reaching in my pocket to lock the car with the button and I have to have keys out most of the time to let myself in either the house or work.

You can still get keyless start though, without entry. I wouldn't be without keyless start now.

You can confirm the doors are locked visually by the indicators flashing twice ;) :)

Dont trust lights though.

I like to tug on the handle and make sure it is physically locked...

Especially as it would mechanically unlock but still keep the alarm armed, so the car thought it was still locked.

Is it worth asking Ford to do it at the free checkup? Or does it not matter anymore and just change it at the first 12k/1yr service interval?

For the 6 months I would get it changed as the first 6 months are when the most fragments come from the engine...

As I put in my first post on here, you can get large discounts. I used Carwow initially but then looked at drive the deal, uk car, buy a car, gb car deals & orange wheels. Orange wheels had the biggest discount off the model I wanted, £4,572 off the list (26%). So my Zetec S 1.5 Ecoboost is coming in pretty much at 16k without any options. Somebody might be able to haggle to get more off but given that all I had to do was put my details in & the dealer rang me to then sort out the order...hassle free!

Test drove the 1.0 125PS today at the local dealer and then started talking pricing armed with DriveTheDeal quotes (CarWow stuff hadn't come through when I left house this morning). After some to & fro their "rock bottom" best offer was £1724 (7.5%) off the £23070 list which felt pretty low so I've walked away. Having checked CarWow tonight all 5 dealers have beaten the local dealer on their first offers.

I went with car wow quoted £16.960 for Titanium 1.5 ecoboost but I added £1755 options on top.

That's a good discount - does that include a deposit allowance or anything? Sounds like the same dealer that have given me the best CarWow quote :)

How do you find the 1.5 EcoBoost for fuel consumption? I'm torn between that and the 1.0 (125) at the moment!

I'm getting about 33 indicated, 32 MPG actual.

I don't think that is too bad considering how cold it is at the moment, with only 600 miles on the clock and lots of short journeys.

I'm getting around 30-35 but only done about a 1000 mls so far was getting about 40--45 with the 125 eco boost but that was after having the car for 3 years it was a good engine.

Yes I took out finance had 2000 deposit allowance then paid it off 2 weeks later . :P
