Mother Chuffing Corsa!

haha! I am quite happy today, as I take this (the 300th post of my own thread!)

I got a call from the wife a few minutes ago, a letter had arrived from the police (dreading it, wondering had I been speeding recently?) I told her to continue.

The foolish Corsa owner was offered his course - pay and forget - which he refused, and he let it roll to court. Clearly over confident he would not be found guilty!

Unfortunately though - the letter says "he was found to be guilty" (I believe this means he pleaded not?) was fined £600, ordered to pay £145 court costs, and also given a very nice 9 points on his license!

I am personally quite pleased with the result. Once again reaffirming why dashcams are the best of the recent developments in technology. Initially the police said they were not interested, however with the cam footage and also the witness testimony - he was then found guilty!

What can I say, a win for me, a win for Mindel, and another loss for Vauxhall,,,

  • Maybe they overestimated the number of actual thefts though, I mean they should realize that the front of a Vauxhall is likely to fall apart by itself.

  • God help you James can't ring them and say your not satisfied with the junk they gave you. Just ring them up and say that the poor bin man is getting confused he couldn't figure out how to get the Va

Couldn't agree more! The Cheshire cat has nothing on my grins today lol

Nice one mate!

Awesome outcome :). It would have been even better if this was one of those court cases that could be filmed, then we could watch his reaction on YouTube :P

By the sounds of it one slip up and he's off the road serves him right for being cheap and buying a Vauxhall

Not so much because he is a Vauxhall owner but more because he's a bellpiece who can't drive.

Haha, I posted a screenshot of that on the other thread! Parts must be in high demand...

OH no! That's.. unfortunate...

Yeah and to be fair if it's on the public property on its own it's fair game lol.

I recon the police should check lost property... They probably have them all out back...

Thought the front parts disintegrated after a certain speed ;)

Delighted for you jeebs always nice when a story has a happy ending

Bad corner! Were they driving with their eyes closed, that's a junction so looks like they've been 'in too much of a hurry' to get there, typical corsa driving 'naff'
