STEADS Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 Poss faulty earth around the boot lock solenoid being triggered when starting take the lock out and look for any corrosion on the connector that's were I would start looking . iantt Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 Sometimes its water ingress in boot switch and sometimes its the boot latch. Check remote fob unlocks boot first, if it does then disconnect boot switch behind tailgate trim panel, recheck if boot still opens when starting, if it does then the latch is faulty Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
