'06 Tdci Focus Boot Popping Open After Startup

Hi lads

My sisters 06 Focus diesel has just developed this issue this week. The boot pops open just after she starts the car. Any ideas?

    Poss faulty earth around the boot lock solenoid being triggered when starting take the lock out and look for any corrosion on the connector that's were I would start looking .

    Sometimes its water ingress in boot switch and sometimes its the boot latch.

    Check remote fob unlocks boot first, if it does then disconnect boot switch behind tailgate trim panel, recheck if boot still opens when starting, if it does then the latch is faulty
