I have started to admire the new Mondeo/Fusion. I'd go for the 2.0 240PS Ecoboost option, with the 6spd auto. Oodles of torque and overtaking power. Respectable 0-60 time of approx 7 seconds. All of this whilst still achieving decent MPG. Nice interior, and very nice exterior.

I also really like the new Mustang, except its over 5 grand more expensive, and might not be as practical as the Mondeo. And it may also attract the wrong kind of attention. The Mondeo is more of a 'sleeper'.

So what is your next realistic car? Will it be another Ford?

Vignale, as long as it's a manual with at least 200 B.H.P.

You won't regret getting the Focus ST3 - truly awesome rollerskate :)

I drive an estate model for work and love it.

The growl when you rev is addictive.

mines a M3 and the wifes is a mini gp

Although I might wait for them to hit the second hand market, as I am kinda scared of the depreciation!

Mine will be a fiesta ST2 (slight upgrade from my ST1)

I know this is FOC but.... I badly want Tesla Model S P85D!

I drove it on several occasions (including preproduction prototype) and it is just something I can't stop dreaming of.

There is no chance for me to buy it ever (you know, salary vs price) though :(

vw toureg.missus has the tiguan but we also need a 7 seater within the family so my dream will have to wait.

The Tiguan is nice but a swine to get parts for.

One of my oppos got a bashed wing in one and it took 2 months to get a replacement.

I won't be shopping for a while yet but it will probably be a newer focus or mondeo next.

Realistically I've only just bought my current car so I'm not even considering another for myself just yet, however I have seen and been in in the showroom the new Mondeo, I have yet to convince my husband though, he's more after a new Beemer or Audi

Focus ST3

Focus ST3 seems quite popular.

I added a poll to the thread.

Our Focus ST 3 puts a huge smile on my face whenever I drive it :)

Realistically an EcoBoost Fiesta, would swap the Focus for one today if they had depreciated enough already. Had enough of diesel unreliability, especially DPF's! Would like the ST but it'll more likely be a 1.0 Titanium tbh.

You've got to ask yourself the question though. When your speaking about cars in the pub and someone asks what you drive, what sounds better?

"I drive a Mondeo" or "I drive a Mustang!" :)

Definitely the mustang

from the Ford range either Mondeo or Kuga

If it happens mine will be the new Fiesta RS

I'd be very tempted by that too, especially if it has AWD and at least 250 bhp.

Edit: although I voted Focus / Focus ST, but that could include a Focus RS if I think I can afford to buy about 3x the amount of petrol I buy now haha.

As much as I'd like a Mustang, at the moment, I would only replace my current Focus with another Focus or Fiesta.

Unless Ford really mess it up, then I might be swayed towards a new Civic.

I'd love a Mustang V8, that's pretty much my dream car (emphasis on dream).

I was quite willing to buy a 14 plate ST1 with less than 4k on the clock for£17500 but 'She who must be obeyed' has put her foot down and ordered me to buy a new ST3 at £25000 instead.

Who am I to argue with that? :d
