Hi I was wondering what insurance company you use and how much U end up paying, also whether you did it over the phone or online.

Just trying to see if there's any cheaper places than my current quotes, I understand its based on your detail.

Hi Benjamin

I have a 2007 1.8 TDCi Titanium X and recently paid £230 with Elephant (Fully comp, with no driving convictions, low annual mileage, and protected no claims). Their renewal quote was originally more than what I'd paid the previous year! -But when I called them to cancel (Having found a better deal), they matched a deal I'd found else where.

Hope that helps as a comparison.

Cheers

My Mondeo renewal just came recently - £165.55 fully comp from the A.A. - seems a bit steep so I may have to go & compare some Meerkats . . :)

Another Elephant £392 total

That's fully comp, legal, hire car, protected no claims, Business, 1 named driver (gets the same benefits as me) that i pay monthly

Was with them last year they are the cheapest even the merkats can,t get close, Brian flue a fuse, i confused confused.com.

Do not know if this will help when i called them last year they said about adding my Mum or Dad, added my retired 66 year old father and it LOWERED last years quote by £70 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

have left him on again this year, did get quote with dad off and it went up by £50 how does that one work.

Has anyone else found the same that adding a driver lowers the premium.

Drifting is more my thing, a bit tough in FWD but I'll persevere I have to put unemployed even though I've now retired as I arnt claiming any pensions, that will change next year and guess what my insurance will then go down, it's all bonkers

Go back and tell them your self employed as a street racer, would love to see what happens then. Your insurance will probably drop lol

Chris Knott Insurance

Been with them for the last 5 years or so. Will always match any best quote I send them.

I think it's about £350 for my 2009 Tit X fully comp.

Moneysupermarket are great for comparisons, avoid the meerkats. Meerkats are not the cheapest! Confused send lots of spam crap, go compare suck too.
