You'd think that with the amount of money you spend buying a car that they would fit the best bulbs available at the factory.

Could always go for the Ford logo projectors :P

Pretty sure they're available as a straight swap item on AliExpress lol

Hi, Stoney871, just wondering how the installation of your A118 dash cam went, as I'm interested in the same cam.

cheers

Y.

I was exceptionally lucky though.

What are the odds of someone cancelling their order for a car in my exact specs?

Their loss is my gain :)

Especially lucky really, I mean who'd have thought he had the same teeth marks on his backside as your malligator and knobbled knees... Persuasive people out there I'd say...

How's it going with it anyway?? Gotta say, I don't think I've seen you around at all.. Haven't spotted your work st either!

Haha, I always keep an eye out for other foci, so I guess we've not been nearby each other... As of course I always drive WITH due care and attention...

Interesting read Clive.

Take ownership of my ST-3 sometime in late March.

Ive got the 2.0 oil burner as I wanted a nice looking car for work that returned good fuel consumption.

mines a Stealth grey, with black 19" wheels. Premium nav, black pack, privacy glass, sunroof, rear cam, heated steering wheel.

interested in the lighting mods you've done, will have to look into these. What do you recommend as first to do?

I have another car in the garage that's my "fun car" 4wd, sub 4 sec 60's, anybody care to guess?

I'll have to think of a prize for the first correct guess.

I think the reverse bulb is the first you should go for, it makes a major difference.

Silver indicator bulbs are more for aesthetics rather than functionality.

Mirror indicators

I also recommend LED boot light bulbs as the standard ones are rubbish.

I did my oblique headlight bulbs too (the ones that come on in reverse or when turning hard corners along with the main lights swivelling) but they are a pig to do due to a weird bulb holder setup.

The car is minging right now.

I tell people that it's for go not for show

I'm likely getting it a proper valeting next week, i've never been the type to spend hours polishing cars, rather be out driving.

Fitting was straightforward though I could have done with being a bit more precise with location and making sure that the camera was 100% level.

Once fitted it's almost impossible to unstick the 3M pads holding the mount on.

Make sure you get your positioning bang on before making it permanent.

Here ya go Fella-

Much brighter than standard bulbs.

Totally agree with you Clive, I do like having the car clean, but I'm not someone that does it week to week... Or even month to month (thinking about it)...

Do you use anywhere good for a valet? Or is it a cop shop special?

Mines lucky if it gets washed more than 3 or 4 times a year, lol.

I'll clean it for special occasions but otherwise I'd rather be driving it than cleaning it too.
