biglad
Have tried reset using buttons in the closed position but windows still won't go all the way down. They sit up by about 3 inches which is pain when getting car park tickets or pose with ya arm out in sunny weather lol. Any ideas would be great. alexp999
Is this the rear windows? If so that is by design.
MONDEO TXS 2.2
2 door Fiesta ? ?
alexp999
I read the title as "Fiesta 2013, 2 Door Windows"...., as in 2 of the windows won't go all the way down. Didn't think it would be "Fiesta 2013 2 Door, Windows".... haha. In that case a 2/3dr should go all the way down, so I would take it back to the dealer as it should still be in warranty. biglad
It's a 2 door, sorry if not clear. It's 1.0 litre ecoboost. This was a cat d bought privately so not sure about warranty etc or if ford would honour any warranty. So if any advice on how to reset or if anybody else has seen this before and way forward would be appreciated. Thanks in advance and for comments so far
jeebowhite
ah the joys of Cat D motors - been there, dont that! Warranty is null and void in the event of a write off, so you wouldnt stand a chance unfortunately. Do they both go to the same level? and where was the damage that wrote the car off? biglad
Both windows go to the same level. And the damage was offside front wing only
jeebowhite
that sounds odd, normally the rears do that, but not the front to my knowledge! Maybe just take it to a dealer (not mentioning its prior cat D state) and ask them if that's normal and they might tell you if there is any updates that can be done! MattDRX
Doubtful they'd HPI the car before taking it in for a minor job. it probably needed painting during repair and they took the mechanisms off and done something, probably think it's at the bottom or something. Do they clonk when they hit the bottom or make any noises at all? it won't be an electrical thing nothing will need resetting it's a mechanical set up, just a block on a bit of cable to prevent it going down too far.
