Metal Clang At Turning Or Setting Off

Sometimes i'me getting a metal clang when turning or setting off, can feel it thorugh the steering wheel.

Have a Mk1 1.8tdci estate.

Any idea what it could be.

Any help is much appreciated.

if your car stands for a long time the disc rust and can make that noise when first moves mine does

[MONDEO TXS 2.2]

Could be the handbrake sticking on when setting off - not with turning though
