Amie91
Hi guys I have a 2010 titanium mk 2.5 focus. I don't have a factory fitted usb but I'm looking to get a ford music box. Has anyone fitted the box and connected it to the usb plate that can be fitted alongside the heated screen controls. Thanks.
Stoney871
I had one in my Mk2 but I had the cable running to the armrest storage tray. If you want to fit it to a switch panel socket you will need a male USB to female mini USB (NOT micro) adaptor to bridge the cables. I can't confirm if any socket functionality will be lost but definitely worth a shot. I really liked my music box, nice clear sound and faultless operation. Amie91
I've just ordered one of those. Going to give it a shot anyway just wondered if anyone had tried it and failed or succeeded. Not sure whether to bother connected the aux part as I've already got it in the glove box. That could be a rainy day project.
Bailes1990
I had the music box I personally didn't get on with it its a lot of money for what it is when you can only read songs off a usb drive I now opted for an aftermarket radio as I like to flick through and browse songs and also see the song name none of this can be done with the music box
