neil 65
Hi all, I've got a 1996 Fiesta that has no main beam, I've got "side" lights and full beam...both the fuses are OK and it's not long passed it's MOT so I'm guessing that I'm not so unlucky that both bulbs have blown on me!!....would take it to the garage but I'm skint....anyone got any ideas?.....thanks in advance
InstructorPiggy
OK, Do you get a Blue light on the dash showing main beam on? Have you got a multimeter to check voltage to the bulbs? Piggy :)

Piggy :) The blue light does come on but that's for what I would call full beam, it's the normal "night time" driving lights that won't come on...sorry if I've confused the issue...I don't have a multi meter but can get one
InstructorPiggy
No, my bad, so your dip beam aint working, ok... the bulbs, if i recall are the same for dip and main, so just try swopping the bulbs, and then see if it works, if it does, you need bulbs, if it makes no difference, its something else. You wont need to do it on both sides, just one side to see if it works. If it does, then do the other obviously! Piggy :)
