ive finally got wheels on only problem is the polished alloy bit is a bit tatty so how do i get the polished finish back

If it's a diamond cut finish I suspect they'll need a professional refurb/re-cut to restore the finish (To be clear, I don't know if they ARE actually diamond cut, but they look like that type/style of finish).

its a smooth finsh looks like water got under the laquer looks llike little worms

Rub down with wet and dry then relacquer takes a lot of time or pay someone to do it
