I can help anyone who wants power folder mirrors on mk3 facelift focus.

They look good, have done a how to?

I was surprised my 17 titanium focus didn't have folding mirrors considering my 14 tit fiesta did. Particularly did like the puddle lights. Obviously I noticed before I bought but thought it odd. Also liked it as knew my doors were locked too when I looked out.

I know :) , you can always fit one. It's simple but you need to have titanium or 4x electric windows then car should have all wires.

So is it a case of fitting the wing mirrors? Do the wires plug in or do they have to be spliced? And what did you use to let the cars computer know the car now has auto wing mirrors so that they work?

If it's an easy job might try do this myself! 

I assume I can get away by not replacing the panel with electric window switch's inside as would never use the fold in switch anyway. As long as they fold in when I lock the car with the fob is all I want.

Yes you have to replace both mirrors & door panel with switches but you dont have to .
you need to check how many pins your mirrors cable has now. if you have 8 10 or 12 you are good to go
 

to activate you need foccus and obd cable.

 

I will post some instuction later on today.

 

I'd imagine the mirrors aren't cheap?

I wouldn't do this myself but it's interesting

I paid around 220 for set

I have a focus titanium 2017 and have put power mirrors with puddle lights on could you activate them for me 

will you drive to me ? 🙂 I need your car

My focus has got sync 3 will that make any difference with activation

I also had powerfold mirrors done good few yrs ago on my mk2.5 focus titanium. Also had them remote powrrfold via ids software
