I was driving my ford fiesta yesterday when my clocks started flashing with the message eac fail and the engine management light was on and the car was driving slugish. I had a look under the bonnet and i could hear air coming from the return pipe conected to the petrol pressure regulator. i pulled the clip off put it back on and the message went but the ecu light stayed on. after a while the ecu light resets. the same thing keeps on happening and i have to keep popping the bonnet and pulling the pipe off and put it back on to drive the car. what is wrong with my car

im not sure what pipe your on about but "eac fail" i think points to a throttle pedal problem iirc

The pipe that I'm reffering to the fuel return pipe.

On the fuel rail, a white fuel connector plug connects to the one side, and on the other end where the pressure regulator is a red fuel connector plug connects. this is the one that is hissing and once removed and replaced puts things right. I'm going to a garage now if i make it to have it code read. fingers crossed.
