munch
i have a 55 plate ford focus and the bonnet warning light has come, but the lock is working ok. but when the key is removed from the ignition and you go to the bonnet you can here a whirring noise from the lock. can anyone tell me what the problem might be and can i change the lock or electrics myself or is it a visit to fords. mintalkin
check that all the push in plugs on the internal fusebox are fully pushed home, these have a habit of coming loose and giving the symptoms you have. if all the plugs are ok it may require a new lock but they aint cheap.
