Hey,

My problem is when I come to open my car by pressing my key remote it opens all doors apart from the drivers door, but when I lock it with the key remote it locks all doors, this has only just recently started happening but my local ford garage want £80 an hour just to see what's wrong, I've already reset the central locking programme but still no luck. Any thoughts?

My Mk 6 Fiesta doesn't have remote central locking - it works off the key in the driver or passenger door.

I'm not sure if the designed behaviour for yours is the same, but can you replicate the symptoms exactly, but using the key in the passenger door and not the remote button? Will that unlock the driver's door?

i know that you can set a setting in the trip computer, to only open the drivers door with one press and open all doors with two presses, might be worth changing the settings to the opposite and then back again, might reset it back to normal...

i've got mine set at the moment, to open the drivers door only on 1 press
