jocojohn
Hi, my partner has a Ka luxury 52 plate, just recently the brake warning light has come on intermittantly mainly when applying the footbrake. I have checked the fluid level which was ok but I noticed the light comes on when the handbrake is only slightly applied ( about 1/4 inch movement ) Is it possible to adjust the play in the handbrake switch to see if this cures the problem. I dont have a manual at the moment, is there much envolved to get at the switch. Also, on a different topic, her car has began to stall at junctions, it always restarts first time. I`m going to remove the ISCV and clean it with Carb cleaner. What is the best method for cleaning? , ie to leave it soaking in cleaner or scrub with toothbrush etc etc. Thanks in advance, John
