AdamC11
Hi Guys, As i was driving home tonight the passenger Speakers (door and tweeter) have halfed in power or output (whatever you guys call it). The car is just over a year old. Is this a problem Ford can do or do i have to replace the Speakers myself? Thanks
savcom
Let's try to work out what has happened first before we start changing anything. I suggest a couple of tests: Is it permanently at this 'half power' level? (i.e. what happens after you turn the car off-and-on in your drive?) Is the sound from the left Speakers distorted or clear? Check the sound menu - has the balance setting swung to the right? Try another source? (was this an iPod you noticed this on? or Aux? If so - try a CD or the Radio) What happens if you swing the sound right the way to the left? Does this make it any louder? Let us know when you've tried these, then we can look at your options. iNath
I had this a couple of times. Turned the DSP from driver > all > back to driver. Fixed it for me,
savcom
I turned the car on and off it was the same When i was on the motorway on monday they crackled for about 10mins Was that the start of the problems or did they stop crackling afterwards and return to normal? Ive checked the sound menu and the balance is all over. Ive tried CD, aux and radio. And ... what happened to the sound with CD / Aux / radio? Did you have the same problem for all sources? Also, what do you mean by "...the balance is all over."? And have you tried iNath's suggestion?
AdamC11
When i started the car this morning, the power or output had come back. Im confused. Is it connection or are the Speakers broken?
