My Ford Focus 1800 estate has a problem that whilst driving along, the car will without warning cut out and the accelerator has no power. This can happen many times in a journey, and I have to press the clutch and start the car quick to avoid any accidents begind me whilst rolling along. ! Also when it happens the glow plug bulb lights up on the dash. Any ideas?

its in the garage at the moment and they are going to check the filter ...

Does anyone else have any other ideas, I thin it may be electrical like a lose wire perhaps?
