AND THE GASKET HEAD WENT YESTERDAY.. MY CAR HAS ONLY DONE 21,OOO MILES AND HAVE ALWAYS HAD IT SERVICED IN FACT IT PAST IT TEST WITH FLYING COLOURS. WHEN IT BROKE DOWN YESTERDAY I PHONED MY DEALERS ( FORDS) AND THEY SAID I HAD NO WARRANTY, I AM SHOCKED THEY ARE ASKING FOR 800. ITS GOING TO BE A BLEAK CHRISTMAS. thats ford dealers for you, unfortunatley you only get a three year warrenty on a new car regardless of milage covered and 800 for a head gasket fitment they shoud rename themselves frauds. go to another garage you should get the job done alot cheaper than 800.

Local garages quote about 300 its still harsh but better than ford dealers.
