Cheesy B
Hi, I've seen some mentions of a under seat subwoofer that was apparently an option on some Mk7s, I can't remember seeing it on the option list but clearly some people have it. Does anyone have any more info on this? pics? is worth getting one? Part number? I'd rather get this over an aftermarket one as I'd like to keep the car as Ford based as possible. Can Ford possibly fit this for warranty reasons, like the Eibach springs? Cheers :)
kirst88
Ford do the pioneer sub and Speakers as an option and after market, look on the website it should be under accessories or just ask your dealer about it :)
Cheesy B
This is all I've seen: Radio/CD MP3 compatible, 2-line display, 4 front Speakers, remote audio controls and AUX connection for external music devices (additional 2 rear Speakers for Titanium only) bluetooth Handsfree, Voice Control and USB Connection Bluetooth® Hands-Free Telephone and Voice Control System (includes trip computer on Edge and ECOnetic) MP3 compatible, matrix display, 6 Speakers, remote audio controls, AUX and USB connection for external music devices, Doesn't say anything about a subwoofer there? kirst88
The sub is an option you have to ask for they don't list it. http://www.fordeumicrosites.com/en-GB/Accessories/produktliste.html?model=91752&productgroup=91757&category=91758 The link above has everything you need sub, Speakers etc.

Cheesy B
Well it pays to haggle with Ford it seems. Pooped round to the dealer I bought the car off and asked about the Eibach lowering and the sub from above. Original price for both parts and 5 hours labour was an eye watering £918.35. Asked really nicely and manged to knock them down to £376.10. Boom that's 59% discount by my maths. Will be booking it in next month :). Part number of the sub is F1479493 if anyone is interested. From 918 to 376?...that's a lot... 376 for the spring and sub? You got the Pioneer sub right?
Cheesy B
Yeah the 150W one. That's both supplied and fitted.
Tato
Yeah the 150W one. That's both supplied and fitted. Well, the price is very good I guess... Did you already fitted it? Are you changing also the Speakers?
Cheesy B
Currently no plans to change the Speakers as they're already the pioneer Speakers with the Sony headunit and I'm very impressed with them.
kirst88
Your basically getting the labour for free as the parts cost £370 so that's good going. Well done you :)
