I have my heart set on a Focus Zetec 1.6 but I can't decide between the 3 or the 5 door......Could anybody tell me which one is likely to hold its value better....or any other pros and cons for either.....Cheers.

Hi mate,

3 Door is great for looks and if your planning to create a RS or ST replica its the model for you,

bad thing about the 3 door would be more expensive to insure because 3door cars are classed as sports model on insurance cover, and a 3door resale range would be less because it wouldnt attract a family to purchase,

5 Door is slightly cheaper to insure and would attract a broader market if you are planning to resale,

you can still do a ST replica if you wish but the RS replica is not possible,

apart from that mate their both the same on boot size really.

When you have made your decision and purchaed,

log on to photobucket and upload the picture's of your Motor,

you can then link them to this forum,

once uploaded go to Album,

below or above each picture on photobucket is an Image URL

copy this URL and paste it in to your posts

once pasted in the post remove the

.img from either side of the link then its job done,
