damn i knew you were going to say that used some heat resistant tape so its a snug fit as theres very few mk2 or 2.5 round my way and the mondeo fiesta etc are all different

well went to the scrappies and not a mk2 in site only mondeos and mk1 focis however after hunting around the same connector is on all mk1 and 1.5s so out with the snips and that was that new one fitted and all is working okay now
