Howdy y'all, the names Aaron but y'all can call me skate. Just got my first car, 2001 Ford Fiesta Flight 1.3. Only had it 4 days and I love it already! I thought I'd join here to get to know some guys, some tips, common problems and other general help.

Now to answer the commonly asked questions by my work colleagues: It's white, it's a 3 door, it cost me £625 to buy and £2444.46 to insure. I'm 20 years old and passed my test in December.

So yeah that's me... Hi.

Welcome!

Blimey! Glad I'm not a young'un learning to drive at the moment! I thought I had it bad when my first premium was £700!

Have fun with your first car, you never forget it! Keep safe as well!

Welcome along!I

dont miss the days of being that young, and paying those bills! my first car cost me £500 (citroen AX 1995) and cost me £1900 to insure. its crazy!

you will find plenty of advice and support here, were all good folks, but you will soon find the place addictive!

Welcome to the forum Skate,

If you get a moment join photobucket and upload some images of your motor, You can then edit to remove your reg plate etc. Then copy the .img code from each image uploaded and paste it on to a post in the forum or many forums for the image to display. You may also like to log on to DMB Graphics for some Gel badge overlays to fit over your existing blue ford badges: http://www.dmb.uk.co...es-gel-overlays

You may also like to browse my list guides all linked below this post, most of the guides are available in PDF format to download and print aswell as viewing online,
They have been performed on a mk2.5 focus but some of them are compatable on your motor too.
