Hi

Can anyone help:

I have read the instructions and can see the wing nuts that have to be removed.

These are extremely tight and I cannot undo by hand - is there a knack or something.

Also it says detach clip - what and where is the clip?

I dont want to break anything by using force.

Thanks

Regards

John

I've removed them from 2 MK3 Focus's now, they're too tight to do by hand so use some pliers.

Seems like they are - it is a plastic nut with a bolt through.

Thanks I just did not want to use pliers if there was a simple knack to it that I was unaware of. can you tell me what this clip is the manual refers to.

The only picture is of the wing nuts?

Am I right to assume I just undo the wing nuts and the light fitting will pull away from the car so that I can undo the wiring plug?

Thanks

John
