wba1990
Looking to get a mobile phone holder for my iPhone, on my old Clio I had one on the air vent but not keen on doing that to the Fiesta. Anybody got any pic of what phone holders they have in their car, also where is the best place to place the holder in the car where it won't look out of place? Lastly does anybody have any links to decent car holders for the Fiesta MK7

MarkyR
Yeap, have used Brodit for several years now, damn expensive but so worth it. I use the clip to mount the phone by the window: http://www.amazon.co.uk/DSL-Brodit-Fiesta-Brodit-ProClip-Right/dp/B001N8YWTI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1363117275&sr=8-1 That's the cheap bit, the holders are the expensive parts. Is that part on amazon easy to fit to the car. Is it as easy as the pictures on amazon make it look?
Stoney871
The mounts just push in between trim panels on the dash. Dead easy, all relevant tools are usually provided.
MarkyR
Is that part on Amazon easy to fit to the car. Is it as easy as the pictures on Amazon make it look? Pretty much yeap, it has a sticky strip on one edge bit yes it literally just clips on, I gotta remove mine when I trade the car in for the ST haha. Brodit has an incredibly good reputation. Philf1
I have been looking for something like this for ages, I currently use a Sandberg holder for my iPhone but that is stuck to windscreen, it works fine for a fiver off eBay but don't really want it on my windscreen. Off to amazon tobuy one now.
MarkyR
Please be aware that you buy Brodit holders in TWO parts, the Pro Clip that you attach to the interior, and then the holder for your phone.
crazylegs
Yeap, Brodit all the way.
Philf1
Ordered mine from DSL in York on eBay, slightly cheaper than amazon, £15.35 for the bracket and £33.38 for iPhone holder for cable attachment so I can charge in the car.
wba1990
For anyone who has the holder in the right corner do I take it it means you can't charge it or link the aux cable to it?
MarkyR
For anyone who has the holder in the right corner do I take it it means you can't charge it or link the aux cable to it? Yeah, you need to extend the cable that's all. This photo gives you an idea of where my cable comes in from, I used the Apple cable and run it down behind the rubber on the trim, it then goes into the plastic trim in the footwell and connects into an extended USB cable which I simply run under the floor mat then the seat and up the sockets by the handbrake. Stoney871
If you remove the panel where the OBD port is you can run the cable down under the dash and through under the lower dash behind the lighter socket then out from behind the demister switch panel. Philf1
Not sure about any holder but Brodit do an iPhone 5 holder. Basically you screw the holderto the bracket so I guess if you can do that with yours and it is the same size of course you might get away with it. http://www.brodit.com/productList.html?brand=Apple&model=iPhone+5&pn=prod
