Hi guys i have been thinking of buying a Ford fiesta 1.4 Tdci but have checked this review

in which he says this car would be dangerous to drive around town as its slow at pulling off from junctions and round abouts anyone else feel this would be a big problem or does anyone else use this car for city driving ?

I call it rubbish. It's a matter of opinion, if you're comparing it to a 2 litre it's bound to seem sluggish but certainly not dangerous.

I've driven a mk 7 1.4 TDCi a lot around town and it was fine really. Petrol Fez's are quicker in and around town as you can rev them harder in lower gears but the power delivery and fuel economy of the dervs make up for it. Basically the 'reviewer' is talking out of his backside!

Absolute rubbish, the 1.4tdci is suprisingly nippy in all conditions. Plenty of slower cars out there. Use to love mine :-)

best thing is block of the egr valve, as my other half's dad was suffering with problems similar, sluggish pulling off, now its lots better now,
