danthespannerman
Hi all I have spent the last few months trying to get a fiesta 1.4 durashift semi auto back on the road and I am stumbling at the last hurdle!! I first went down the route of relying on someone else to repair my clutch actuator only to be ripped off to the tune of £130 (STEER WELL CLEAR OF ECU SOLUTIONS WALES). After being ripped off I decided to have a go at converting the car to a manual. I have sorted all the mechanical side and the wiring the car now starts and drives hurray!! The only problem that I now have is that the speedo does not work. The problem that I am having is that my car has abs and the speed is calculated from the abs sensors rather than a vehicle speed sensor. What I am after finding out is the pcm/ecu part number from a 2003/2004 1.4 duratec engined car with abs as the donor car that I got the ecu from did not have abs. MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE DANNY

Mike t' Mechanic
Hello Danny, what did you have to buy to carry out the conversion and what did you have to do to the wiring?
Mike t' Mechanic
Did you find a new wiring loom or did you modify the durashift loom that was already fitted please ?
