boogiebusby
Hi there I am new to this forum. I have a 60 plate ford fiesta, and the bluetooth module appears to have given up the ghost; no blue light any more. I took it to ford who said that they would run an update and if that didn't work it may need a new bluetooth module. I have an iPhone 5 and it pairs with everything else, but when I try and select the phone on the car display, it just sits there saying Please wait.... 2 questions please: Is there somewhere to download the latest software? Mine is the bluetooth with voice control How do I check the compatibility of bluetooth modules? Ford wanted to charge me £30 for the update and £250 for the new module I have seen the modules available on eBay but need to check its compatibility Hopefully someone out there may be able to help me Thanks
James West Mids
Hi, I can't be of any help but I can say I had a similiar experience when I had my Fiesta. It was a 2011 Zetec S with the same module. The bluetooth stopped working for about a month during my ownership. I meant to go to Ford, but after a month, it started working again. Never had a problem with it since that up until 2 years when I sold it. It could be a common problem on Fiestas. Perhaps someone can corroborate this?
