New Car, First Car.......fiesta Style

just got my son his first car..... a 57 plate fiesta style climate, silver , ford f/s/h, only 28k miles.

Hopefully a good little car.

certainly is a nice car,

just one question, how loud should the power steering sound, seams to be quite loud and heavy,? although my wife's car is very light, don't know if I'm just use to that steering .

Looks good, a perfect choice for a first car. What engine is it? As for the power steering, I had a similar Fiesta and the steering was loud too, but only noticeable from outside the car. I think that's probably normal, just because it's hydraulic power steering as opposed to most new cars which are elecric.

Just had the car checked over and the garage can't fault it. Steering normal. Just as you say hydraulic noise.

What mpg might we expect from the 1.25 engine around town

It probably gets similar mpg to my old 1.4, which was around 40 on a mix of different road types. So around town maybe mid 30s?
