Actionbat
Hi All I have a 2007 Mondeo 2.2 ST TDCI Estate whilst driving home from work yesterday I experienced a loss of power almost as if the car had gone into limp mode no lights were showing up on the instrument display at all, I had virtually no acceleration, I stopped at a service station & turned the engine off for about 5 mins when restarted everything was ok & the car performed as normal. I popped out in the car again about 2 hours later again everything seemed to be ok but I did notice a whistling noise coming from the engine everytime I accelerated & changed up gear. Has anyone any idea's on what this whistling noise is when accelerating & changing up gear, thankyou in advance Duane :)
mintalkin
it sounds like you could have a split turbo hose check for signs of damage on all of the hoses, also check the intercooler hose, this is the large hose on the bottom og the egr valve.
