Mental_Atom
Bit extreme for me. I won't be buying any machine. Just wondered if the micro fibre cloths were a good or bad idea I don't use a machine :P but yes, microfibres are a must have!

Mental_Atom
I think basically what we can establish from this thread is there is no 'best', it's all down to the product and finish people personally like best!
paulyinthenorth
Currently I'm using: Ultimate snow foam Gyeon Bathe+ shampoo Gyeon Wet coat after wash treatment Gyeon Tire They had an offer on the Gyeon stuff. Haha. The base of this though was a thoroughly and carefully washed car. Clayed. Polished with Meguiars Ultimate polish. And then waxed with Autoglym HD Wax. gillyallan
My car has been getting dive bombed with bird !Removed! all this week at work. I've had to wash it every single day. One day I swear the birds were eating cement as I struggled to shift it. So much so I lightly scratched my bonnet. Bought some autoglym today and thought I'll double dose it. Ie. Do just the scratch area then do the whole bonnet. Now feck me. I thought my car was clean and shiney but the little patch I done stood out a mile. Looks good now whole bonnet is done. I need to get whole car done though.

Have heard good things about them as well so we'll see how it goes :) Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
dmizz93
Well, got back from work at 4 and have given my car a good going over with the pressure washer, but of deamon snow foam (average) managed to get pretty much all the little dirty marks off the car.. Then set about wiping her down and letting her dry off. Didn't want to waste time so applied SRP to mainly dry paint, worked in sections round the car, leaving around 10 mins before buffing all out - wow! Got to say I'm pretty impressed with the Autoglym products even though they're a household name really easy to apply and you can see the results (even on a white car!) currently waiting for the EGP to dry off then will buff that off, and wax with the last of the light but see below for what the car looked like with the polishing done!!
