Soad Posted March 22, 2017 Share Posted March 22, 2017 FOCUS 1.6TDCI TITANIUM X 2014 Not had the car that long and have noticed that the engine rattles (sounds like a petrol pinking), that sort of rattle mainly in low gears, I am using BP Ultimate diesel, should I try maybe Esso or Shell premium diesel? JONATHAN_11_80 Posted March 23, 2017 Share Posted March 23, 2017 We have a 2014 Cmax 1.6 tdci this also rattles on acceleration its a characteristic of the engine and is a noise I have heard on other focus's 308's C4's which share the same engine.
