Lack of power after dpf cleaning

Hi all, I have had a few issues with my focus recently from the dpf I have had it cleaned and refitted. The error and eml have gone so I believe it to be successful. However whilst driving today it was a fairly long drive of 160 miles round trip, my car has again been playing up. It feels like the torque is non existent and in 4th and 5th there is no power at all, it won't go over 3k revs in those gears but it does in the others.

I have checked all hoses to and from the turbo within sight and tightened them all up. There is quite a lot of oil around the turbo but I also checked the propeler for movement and it seemed fine to me.

In neutral if your gentle the rev counter will bounce between 3k and the first dial after the 3k and you do get some whitesh smoke come out the back.

I really don't know what could be causing this if anyone has had anything similar or any ideas I can try?

I do not claim to be an expert on these matters but from reading these forums for a long time I am wondering if it is a problem with the EGR valve.

It sounds pretty much like what my brother's 1.6tdci fiesta is doing at present and when I put a code reader on it, it was showing problems with EGR valve indicating it is stuck (they do get coked up with carbon). He has not investigate further, he just moans about it not running right and can't be bothered to investigate the EGR where the code reader suggests is the problem area. He has done much more major work on cars over the years but in recent years is lacking in get up and go, just like the car
