Madraglas
So my Galaxy has developed 2 problems 1 - the drivers door window only goes up 4” before going back down. It does this 3 times before going up fully every time. 2 - the central locking on the passenger door won’t open on the fob. All the other doors open and it has to be opened from the inside. When I go to open it the manual lock button on the door is partially pushed in im sure both will be simple fixes but some guidance on the likely issue would be helpful
Gaivars14
I have same issue with rear doors. Would be great to found solution. Is it just door lock or door control unit.
rbrown3
I have the same problem on my 63 plate Galaxy ( Keyless ) with the central locking, Ford quoted £500 to fix, my problem is if I open offside rear door ( this is the door that has the problem ) this door opens and the car unlocks, close it and I cannot open that door again because the lock mech does not unlocked it needs a new control unit, I have to manually unlock the offside rear door cheaper than £500, I was thinking of getting another unit from scrap yard but I don't know if it needs to be programmed in. The window problem seems to be it thinks the window mech is jamming try helping the window to close if that works try silicon grease
Gaivars14
Door control unit control windows too. It's do no need to grease. I don't know too that door control unit need to be programming after replacement
Nigenige
Check the door looms, particularly where the wiring goes from the door to the door pillar. I had window and door locking issues and it came down to broken wires. See my post.
