Sync 2 to Sync 3 Upgrade

Hi All,

Really hoping to complete this upgrade in the coming months and have a couple of questions for anyone that has done this before.

Could someone provide a link to the guide on here, as i cannot seem to find it?

Anyone have the part number for the wiring harness, used with the USB Module (CARPLAY)

https://www.4dtech.com/sync-3-retrofit-usb-hub-wiring-adapter-gen-2a/

If i have no extras such as Reversing sensors, reversing camera, etc etc, do i need to reprogram anything else with forscan (Steering controls etc).

Does  sync 3 have the capability to change the tiles on the home screen as i intend on using Apple Maps for nav, and not the inbuilt one, and also dont like the compass on Sync systems without NAV!

Anyone on here selling a Sync 3 (with sat nav if possible)?

Anything else i need to be aware of?

Any help you chaps can provide would be appreciated.

Regards

Dan

You can't change the default Sync 3 tiles, but you can change the app tiles in Apple Carplay.  Where the map tile normally appears in Sync3 you will just have a link to Apple maps but no image of the map until your using Apple Maps.
