Hello all,

I have a 2104 Kuga, i was driving with my daughter in the passenger side, when a deer ran out, so i had to break hard, no human or deer was injured. :) But her seat belt un-clipped.

I pushed it back in and pulled it hard and it unclipped again. I contacted my local main dealer (where i bought my car) who informed me that as the car out of warranty it'll cost over 100 pounds to repair. I'm upset as its im my view something that could have been defective from when i bought the car, but there insistent i have to pay. Has anyone else had issues with there seat belt, and could anyone help me with the part i need to fix it please, i'll do it myself i'm handy with a spanner lol. Until it's fixed the front seat wont be used,

Thank you x

Hi Jo,

How long have you had the vehicle then??  If you have bought it recently from a dealer recently, then i would have thought that as its a legal requirement for a seatbelt to function correctly they should sort it?
