TomsFocus Posted April 13, 2019 Share Posted April 13, 2019 Not very secure, although more secure than having keyless entry as well.聽 The extent of precautions really depend on where you live/park, and how desirable the car is.聽 Titanium's are less likely to be stolen than sporty models for example. Some people just disable the OBD port which is easy and a one-time operation (just remember to enable it before servicing).聽 Others fit steering wheel locks or pedal locks every time they park which is a lot of hassle but will prevent a driveaway and hopefully act as a visual deterrent against breaks in's. Ford have released motion activated key fobs which automatically switch the signal off when no movement is detected for 40 seconds.
